(everything except for the weather...)

miss and love them all.

We Used to Wait....

We used to wait....

thats an understatement of the century.

i've been waiting since 2007 to see

arcade fire

in concert. so when i found out they were going to be playing in

phoenix on the 13th of april i was dying to go.

but funny story, i almost didn't go.

my roommate/friend c's bday was the exact same day.

so i was planning on not going.

but last minute change of plans, i was able to go.

so, i hurried and searched for tickets.

luckily they still had some, however, i could only buy TWO tickets.

and i couldn't find anyone to go with me. so two tickets would be pointless.

luckily, my friend ashley was going.

i was just going to buy tickets next to hers,

and then if it wasn't super packed, i'd just move by her.

well, we were texting, while searching for someone to go with,

when she says this....

"my friend has to bail at the last minute, she can't miss class.

do you want to buy her ticket?"

me: "umm....yeah. done."

so i ended up going with my friend ashley,

her roommate amy and their friend jeff.

i had so much fun with them. so glad i was able to sit with them.

and, that's not all...

i also ran into jenna and steoffrey lang

both friends from provo

who happen to be married and live down here.

(and also who i haven't seen in a WHOLE YEAR.

when i first moved down here. despicable, i know)

anyway, had a blast. loved every minute of it.

i didn't want it to end.

The Vegas

this weekend, i think

for one of the very first times ever,

i went to the vegas,

without my family.

i've been down for day activities in hs,

but never have i been to the vegas to

actually "experience"the vegas.

l's bf was going to be there for a

bachelor party.

so l, c, m, k, and a

decided to head up and

hang out with him (the bf)

and his friends.

so c, a, k and m

drive up to vegas yesterday morning (6 am)

and l flew in from california that afternoon.

that evening,

we get all dolled up in our finest

going out gear.

(big stacks included..)

and headed to dinner at the

aria hotel in the city center, called

julian serrano

(it was yummy)

then before heading off to vanity

at the hard rock, but of course

we had to snap a couple photos...

some may have gotten on the stage....

i had to...

the vegas.

might as well live it up while you can..

Oh brother...

must be a case of the years....

as soon as i realized

i hit my year mark, i immediately

wanted to go somewhere else, or

move or something. so, to curve that craving,

i've decided to head to SLC this weekend.

i can't even wait, i'm so excited.

it'll be good for me. get out of az.

see old friends and family.

not focusing on things that i don't need

to be focusing on.

it'll be a worry free missy

i can't believe that exactly

one year ago

today,

that i left these folks...

to join these folks...

(and many, many more folks, of course.)

in arizona.

i've loved just about every minute of it.

it's been exciting and adventurous.

i can't believe i actually moved

and that it's

already been a whole year. whoa.

guess time flies when you're having fun...
