The end of a career...

my softball season/career

has come to an end.

we played in our final game last night.

and sadly, we lost.

but we had a great season and

everyone on the team was

great. and fun to play with.

i'll definitely miss our tuesday nights.

Changing of seasons...

well, this must be it.

the weather is a bit chilly.

and by chilly, i mean at least 77 degrees during the day

and 59 degrees at night.

but for some reason,

i can't leave the house without a jacket and i'm freezing.

i never thought i'd think that 59 degrees was cold.

i mean, it is, but i lived in provo for five years.

i've experienced cold/terrible weather.

but now, i guess i've figured it out...

i've acclimated to the arizona weather

and i kind of like it...

(now if i could only have my winter stuff from stg.

my life would be grand. anyone coming down soon?)

Sad days ahead...

boo-hoo.

it is now official.

i won't be coming home for

thanksgiving.

first time.

ever.

i'll miss you green beans.

i'll miss you sweet potatoes.

and i'll miss you orange rolls.

but mostly, i'll miss you family.

see you at christmas...

Winner for most costume Changes is me...

Well, the festivities are over.

thankfully.

(let's just say this halloween wasn't quite the best for some reason)

but I did have my fair share of costume changes.

you would have thought that I was hosting an award show.

so, let's just start from the beginning...

then, for family home evening aka FHE

I went as my friend Sara and she went as me...

(only problem, she's tall and i'm small. ha)

then on the 30th

my roommate Emily and I surprised everyone and we were...

puppets.

we went to the hanger party.

(while at the party, we took off our strings aka pipe cleaner,

and we were just dolls.)

there were 1,000+ people there.

that is a lot of costumes and people..

then last night, we had some more halloween festivities at our house.

And last night, I was costumed out.

So I threw on a long grey dress, a big creme colored sweater,

lots of bangles, and a halo headband

and went as a hippie/janis joplin/

whatever 60s-70s person you can think of.

No pictures of that costume yet, but of course

i'll post as soon as they come in...
