To keep you informed....

dear all those married folks and you single ones too...

i wanted to inform you all about a topic that has recently shed light to me
and my roommate C. we were watching ABC's "the bachelorette" and of course you know that bentley is a recent topic of conversation.

now for the information, anytime we single girls go out, to meet all those single guys, we meet guys like bentley all. the. time. they are the only guys we happen to meet, unfortunately.

however, we are not as phased by it anymore. we have seen the charming ways of mormon bachelors. they woo you. charm you. make you want to marry them and breed their children, but don't give in. you must resists their sweet remarks. their cunning ways. their stunning good looks. and everything else that implies.

now i will mention that not all guys are like this. obviously there are a few good ones out there. we have yet to meet them, but we are actively searching. and searching we will do. now if you are kind of confused with what we deal with, please read this blog. it will explain everything...

in the end, you'll see what us single ladies have to deal with on a regular basis. bentleys.
heaven help our young mormon girls..

As of Late....

so, i obviously haven't posted in a while. maybe its because nothing cool has happened in my life or just that i get sick of posting without photos. or maybe it's because i never take my camera with me anywhere, so therefore, i have no pictures to post. but all that is about to change. i got a new camera for my birthday. it's pretty schnazzy. i like it. it takes some great photos, and who doesn't like a camera that takes great photos. anyway, i'll post a few of my favorites.

and a little disclaimer...
there are a couple pictures, two separate occasions, where i happen to be wearing the same outfit. no judgements please. i'm resourceful and most definitely a repeat offender. so sue me...

these are all with the new, cool, hip camera...

these two above are taken from fb....

this is from the new, cool, hip, camera.

Dear Arizona, you've been expecting me, haven't you?

recently, i've become, well, more grown up...
(mostly because i'm now considered "an adult" by some folks, aka dad...)
that i've needed/had to make a few changes.

some of these changes came up unexpectedly.
others, i knew were coming.

i turned the dreaded twenty-six a few weeks ago.
it was a great day.
but let me be honest with myself and you,
i did not want to be twenty-six.

for example, obama (yes, the president) said that
all children could be on their parents health insurance
until they are....twenty-six
(the only thing i'm glad he's done. too far?)
so obviously i milked it. (what kid wouldn't?)
so now i'm in the process of getting that taken care of.

and secondly. i no longer live in the state of utah.
(if you didn't know that, where have you been?)

i live in arizona. have been for the last year.
well sadly enough, i got pulled over last week.
i got a ticket for not having az plates and an az license.
i'd procrastinated far too long, and much to my dismay and inability to lie on the spot,
i had to make the big, dreaded switch....

so i did the responsible thing.
i went to the dmv the same day i got pulled over
and made the switch.

so finally today, i went from this....

to these...

(obviously things have been crossed out to protect my identity...ha)

it'll be a good move/change, right....
right?

there's no place like home.
there's no place like home.

can't wait to be there.
8 hrs and counting...

"all of us remember the home of our childhood. interestingly, our thoughts do not dwell on whether the house was large or small, the neighborhood fashionable or downtrodden. rather, we delight in the experiences we shared as a family. the home is a laboratory of our lives, and what we learn there largely determines what we do when we leave there."
