To Come Home Again...

so this weekend, i was dying to get work of on saturday,

to meet my family in las vegas...

(mom, dad, maggie, and matt)

so i tried and texted and texted just about everyone on the calling sheet for to see if someone could cover for me. It was a four hour shift, it can't be that hard, right?

well with a million people that work at anthropologie, i found some to cover it.

this was monday morning, that finally found someone to work for me.

then, later on that afternoon, i found out that las vegas wouldn't be happening this weekend...

(due to some complications. but that is all i'll say)

so now matt isn't coming home, and mom, mags and dad aren't going to vegas

and i have my shift covered at work.

i felt that since i'd tried so hard and succeeded to get my shift covered,

i needed/wanted to go somewhere...

well i was on the phone with mom, and i asked her what they were going to be doing for mother's day? she said staying home....

then, i got a brilliant idea. i should come home.

flights into vegas can't be that bad, which i was going to have to book anyway,

and mom had been looking at flights for me anyway for prices.

so, i did it. i booked a flight to come home, for...

twenty-four hours.

oops, i like my family, i want to see them, so sue me...

but now, that i will be home,

we can have an early b-day party for mom, celebrate mothers day and just be together.

i love my family. i can't wait to see you...
